So this last weekend we took our first camping trip to Blue Lake. The kids did amazing on the hike down. We only stayed one night but it was fun with all the family there. Here's some pictures of out trip.

4Th of July weekend fun

Josh was home for a long holiday weekend. He got the pool ready and the kids were ready to jump in and to start having fun. William decided to jump right in when he came out side. He was so excited he forgot his arm floaties. Luckily Josh was already in the pool to save him. The water was cold but they didn't seam to care.

Then monday night the kids and i sat outside and watched the fireworks. They had a great time and it took them a while to go back to bed after.

So I know its been a while....ok a long while. Had a great christmas and then had William's birthday, which is also his cousins Zulaka's birthday too. William decided that this year he wanted a alien birthday cake and Zulaka loves frogs so I found a great froggie cupcake idea.

I didn't get to many pictures of the party because the lighting wasn't the best so here are the ones of there cake.

I will update more on what we have been up to in the Houdek house hold. We have been busy with the garage and now I have been working on the basement for the kids. I hope to keep up with the blog more often but no promises.

It's been a while since my last update. I would like to say that I've been busy but I just have been slacking. Well as most of you know that William was diagnosed with seizures. They are that bad, all he does is fall or look like he's a little off balanced. He is on medication for it and they say that it should take care of it. They don't know how long he needs to be on it but they are thinking maybe a couple of years.

Our poor little boy has been such a big trooper with everything. So many doctors in a weeks time. I did get to take pictures of his EEG.

The Two Weeks of Potty Trainning

Well, as some of you know I started potty training William. I decided to do it when I got back for Washington last month. The first week didn't do so good because of me. We had family come and I just wasn't into it.

After everyone left I went to the book store and found a coloring book about potty training. It came with a chart and sticker. So the next day we taped it to the bathroom wall and we made a fresh start. We started on Thursday and went from there. As you can see William started out pretty good. All he needed was to see what that thing between his legs was really for. Once he figured it out there was no stopping him. Every time he went he would yet 'Mommy I made bubbles'. We would hi five, put a sticker on and then get a piece of candy.

By the end of the second week we ran out of Elmo stickers and had to start using Spiderman. Both Josh and I are so proud of our little man for this big achievement. All I have to do now is to get him out of pull ups at night and we are done.

Our Trip to Washington

Well the kids and I decided to drive to Washington again. This time it was to see daddy. Josh has been working in Port Angeles for a month now so we thought it would be nice to go and see him for a change.

We left monday morning and stayed with Caci. On the way up we ran into snow. It looked so pretty with all the trees. The pictures don't do it justice because of the wind shield.

When I looked in the mirror this is what I saw.

Right before Portland there is some beautiful waterfalls. I pulled off the freeway and took the old highway and we stopped at the first one. The kids got to get out of the car and run around.

Birtday Party

Well, it sure had been a while since my last update. Since then I somehow lost my charger for my camera. It took a lot of convincing toS Josh to let me buy a new one. Now I can take pictures again. So much has happened I honestly can't remember it all. So here's our February updated.

William turned 3 on the 24th. That weekend we had the family party. We got to celebrate two birthdays that day. William's cousin Zuleka turn 1 on the same day (24th). So here's some picture of our party.

November update

Well, I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend. Ours was great. We went to Pocatello and stayed with Josh's parents then on Thursday had dinner with mine. I was able to see my mom's new house, which has a lot of potential. People definitely liked the colour brown in the 70's. But I hope that I can help mom get at least one of her rooms updated to this century while I'm down there this christmas.

As most of you know my washer a couple of weeks ago broke. So while in Pocatello we found a new one on black friday. So we are the proud owners of a HE3T steam washer and a HE3 dryer. We got them Monday and Josh installed them that night. I did 4 loads that night and 2 the next day. Now I am caught up on laundry.

The kids are doing great. They are both so excited for christmas. Abbie is already thinking of what she is going to ask Santa for and William is starting to recognize him.

I also can't believe how smart they are. Abbie is writing her name now. Don't ask me how but she figured it out. Last time I was trying to teach her we got stuck on the b's. So we quit for a while. She also amazes me on some of the conversations that she will have with people. Sometimes they are more adult then 4 yr old.

William is growing like a weed. I swear he grows a inch every other month. He's not even 3 and he will be out of 3T clothes by this summer. And we are starting to understand what he says half the time.

Josh and I are doing great. Josh has been working on a garage for his brother's father-in-law. It is bigger then my house square footage wise. I am still at home. Trying to make things look nice. Not always easy with the kids but I try. I think that I need a project to do. But I don't think that Josh will let me tare up the kitchen. For now I'm trying to get him to let me paint our bedroom. We'll see what happens.

Halloween 2009

Well Halloween went great this year. Both kids had a blast. We went to Josh's brothers ward for their trunk or treating. Both of them seamed to be in hyper mode even before we started.

Abbie knew exactly what to do. She was a hard one to keep up with. And she also had to show me every piece of candy that she got.

William on the other hand, kinda knew what to do. He would get a piece of candy then just stand there and wait for more. Then he would run past the next car.

Update on Garage

So as most of you know, Josh was building us a new garage. It is the biggest thing that is on our property. He has gotten so much done. He thinks that he should be able to have the final inspection done in a couple of weeks.

Well, a lot has been going on since my last post. I have been busy making halloween costumes and a blanket for William. And Josh has been busy tearing down the garage and building a new one. Well, this week we went camping for the first time with kids. It was fun and a whole lot of work. First it was from my understanding a two mile hike. My father-in-law forgot to tell me that it was up hill about 90% of the time.

We did make it to the top and back down again. Here's some pictures of our adventure.

Well, this week we were lucky to have my nieces over from Washington. Since they've been here the pool has been busy.

Today William and I decided to join them in all their fun. William has just started to swim with his arm floaties this past week. He's a little scared but getting braver. Well today he decided to get really brave. He started to jump off the patio and into the pool. To my amazement he enjoyed it. Then he got really brave and slid down the slide into the pool.

Abbie and William wore me out just taking them out of the pool over and over again. So here's a short video of our fun.

Trip to Washington

I know its been a while but what can I say. I've been busy and it's gotten way to hot in the computer room to stay in there for to long.

Well a couple of week ago, the kids and I went to visit my sister Caci in Washington. And as you can see from the first picture we did indeed go to Forks. But my favorite part was La Push. I had forgotten how much I missed the trees and all that green.

The next day we went to the zoo. Where the kids got to see all the cool underwater creatures. So here are some pictures of our trip.

Fun in Rexburg

Well, I was sitting at the computer and told myself that I really needed to update my blog. I am truly sorry.

I guess I'll start were I have left off last time. At the end of May the kids and I went to spend the week with Josh in Rexburg. We usually don't do much when were there, but that week was a fun one.

Noelle decided to take the kids and I to Egan Lake (sorry if spelling is wrong). There the kids, Noelle and I walked through sand and water to get to where we set camp. The water was not to cold so the kids had a lot of fun.

Later that week the kids and I went and spent the day with my mom and sister. We went to the park and ate lunch then we all went the the Museum Of Idaho. They had the exibit of the Titanic. I thought it would be lots of fun the go.

When we got there the ladys at the desk gave us our tickets and a card with a persons name on it. So when we were done we could look on the wall and see if our person survived or was lost at sea. They even had a big sheet of ice so you could feel was a iceburg would look like up close. To my surprise Abbie had so much fun looking at all the cool things that were on the ship.

So this weekend we had a lot of fun. Terrilynn and I decided to take our kids to the Nampa parade. It would have been Abbie's second one and William's first. They both did really well. They got so much candy I don't know what to do with it all.

Later that night Eric and Terrilynn came over for a bbq. We pulled out the kiddy pool so the kids could cool off and have some fun outside.

Big Boy

Well yesterday was a big milestone in William's life. We got William a big boy bed. Both Abbie and William enjoyed it when it was all finished. Last night was the first time in it. He did amazingly well, and slept all night. Here are a few picture of him asleep and one this morning.

Last month the kids and I went to see Josh in Rexburg and spent a couple of weeks with him. While we were there we spent some time with my family. One of the aventures we did was go to the Idaho Falls Zoo. It's a lot smaller then the boise but I think it's just as fun. Here are some of my favorite pictures.

Moving up

Well, the other day Abbie and I were talking and I told her that William was getting to big for his car seat and needed hers. I told her that she was big enough for a booster seat. She thought that that was pretty cool and wanted a pink one. Well, we already had a couple of booster seats that was giving to us by family.

So Abbie and I went to Jo-Ann's and picked out some fabric that she liked and made a new cover for it. She loves the stripe and I love the colors. It's not the best sewing job that I've done but it will have to do.

Easter

Well, we had a fun Easter this year. Abbie really got excited for the Easter bunny to come. The night before we died the eggs, it was William's first time.

The next day when they woke up Abbie and William started their hunt. They found their baskets and lots of candy in the living room. William was funny, instead of running around getting eggs he would get one, eat all the candy in it and them find another one. But they both had a lot of fun.

After finding all the eggs I got the kids in their Easter clothes. I made Abbie's dress and found William's suit at Shopko for cheap. They both looked so cute.

This week Josh got to stay home and not have to work. Well, he is working but with no pay. We just pay him with love. We got the sprinklers in in the front yard and its now ready for grass. The garden is now ready to plant and he is now finishing the skylight in the master bath.

Yesterday after William's nap Josh thought it would be fun to go to the park and fly kites. We tried. It was just to windy. Abbie on the other hand managed to get her kite up by herself. It stayed up for about 10 min. The point is we all had fun running around like idiots.

We also went to Eric and Terrilynn's house and saw their neighbors new baby goat. She was adorable.

Quick Update

Sorry that it's been so long since my last update. I don't have much of an excuse. Things have been the same. I have been able to get a lot of yard work done the past few weeks. Abbie helped me get started on the plants for the garden and helping me pull weeds in the front. So I decided to just post some pictures of what we have done since the last post. I hope you all enjoy.

The kids and I went to the zoo last month with Terrilynn and her kids. We had a blast and decided to go there more often during the summer.

We went to Pocatello to see Josh for the week and got to see the new member of the Houdek family. Her name is Zuelaka and she is Scott's and Charity's new addition.

Josh's Aunt Kathy was so nice to give us their trampoline. I was able to put it up a couple of weeks ago and the kids love it. I didn't put up all the legs so it made it short enough so the kids can get on it all by themselves.

So as some of you know William had his birthday this past week. And on the weekend we had two birthday parties. My brother Brandon and his family were driving throw on Friday so we decided to have a party for William and their youngest Owen. They are only a week and a half apart. And then the next day we had a party for the rest of the family.

It was so nice to have everyone that could make it. And being able to see Brandon's kids were great.

I don't have a lot to talk about so I'm just going to post some pictures.

Well I got a lot of things done this past week. I finished Abbie's easter dress. I think that it turned out really cute. Then when Josh came home for the weekend, the weather was nice enought to let the kids drive their new power wheel.

Josh's Aunt Kathy and Uncle Wayne gave it to them when they moved. So today the kids and I went to the store and bought some paint for it. We decided to go with the color that it was origially. I think that it turned out pretty good. Not my best paint job.

Last friday Josh called me up and asked if we wanted to spent the week with him in Pocatello. Of course I said yes. So I got the kids and I packed up and left to see daddy. It was a long trip but it was well worth it.

When we got there Josh's brother and his family were already there. So Abbie and William got to spend time with there cousins.

Abbie and I decided to make the princess pictures shes been after me about. So Abbie and I were on a hunt to find the perfect paper and princesses for the job. We found everything we needed and got going on our project. I think that hey turned out pretty nice.

William and I have been practicing on some new words. His newest and I think fav. word is "food", he knows when you say it something good comes with it. He is also trying to say some names. He also did the funniest thing the other day at my in-laws house. Josh's mom had made cookies and let the kids have some after their lunch. Well apparently one wasn't enough for William. When no one was looking he moved one of the chairs from the dinning room and pushed it all the way to the kitchen. Then all of a sudden I herd the lid to the cookie jar. When I looked up all I could see was the top of his head. When we went to get him he had a cookie in his hand and less then a half an inch from his mouth. As soon as Josh got to him he through it back into the jar. We were both so proud of him for being so creative. However he didn't get another cookie again til much later that day.

Josh and I are doing pretty good. We aren't to sure when he will be home for good, but I do hope soon.

SUNBEAM YEA!!!!!

Sorry I haven't updated since christmas. I've been busy trying to get everyone back on schedule. William has only sleep one full night since we've been home. Then we canceled our home phone and in the process they canceled our internet. I just got it back on friday night, then Josh came home and I never got the chance until now to get on the computer.

Since my last post we had a few things happen. Abbie started sunbeams. The first two sundays she wanted to go back to her old class with William. But last sunday we were in Eric's ward for David's blessing and she couldn't wait to go to class. I say her in Primary sing along and having fun. In fact she didn't want to leave when church was over. So Emily, things should be better for you this sunday.

Now my little girl isn't so little anymore. For christmas we got her a bike. She goes so fast on it, she maneuvers around furniture like its nothing. Also during christmas break she started playing a memory game on Noelle's computer. She did amazingly good. Without any help she could win and start a new game.

William is getting better since we got home. Still up most nights but I am trying to figure out how to fix it. He is now on big boy cups. In fact I threw out his sippy cup the first week we got home. I know that he misses it a lot but he does great without it.

Things around the house a slowly coming around. Since Josh is out of town a lot not much gets done. I am slowly trying to get the small projects finished for him. Not much luck so far with the kids. I do have a couple a projects that I started for myself. I am making two baby afghans for my sister in laws. I am making a butterfly one for Autumn and a different one for Pam. I wont say what it is because she doesn't know what she is having yet so I don't want to spoil the surprise for her (sorry Pam).

Well I should go Abbie is calling for me. The video is when we got home. I thought it was funny because of William.

Christmas Break

Well I know that its been a while since the last update. The kids and I went up to Pocatello for christmas break. Josh was able to have two weeks off so we all enjoyed the extra time with him.

We started our break at Josh's sisters house and finished the christmas shopping. They got a lot of snow the few days we were there, so Josh and Jason wanted to build a slide all made out of snow. We all helped and got it at least started. I have a couple of videos of Josh and Noelle jumping off the roof of Autumn's house into the big pile of snow. Josh got sort of stuck. It took Jason a few tries just to get him out.

Later we all went to Gammy and Gampy's house. Abbie and William had a great christmas. On christmas eve I took the kids to the mall to see Santa. This was the first year Abbie told him what she wanted. For some reason she wanted a airplane. Go figure. So as you can see in the picture she got one.

They both made out like bandits. Later that day we all went to Idaho Falls to visit my parents for christmas dinner. The kids also got spoiled there by Auntie Sarah.

Later the kids both decided to get sick. Abbie kept getting fevers left and right. After a few days Josh and I decided to take them both in to see what was wrong. They both had strep. Abbie got it the worst. Her mouth was so swollen she could barley understand what she was saying. After a few days the were getting a lot better.

Now were home and trying to get back into our rotten again. Here are just a few pic of our christmas.

Well it's been a while since the last update. We've been back and forth to Pocatello since the last update.

The kids and I were able to stay with Josh's sister Autumn the first few days at her house. She wanted a sleep over with the kids for her birthday. She had a great party and later that night us girls went out and saw Twilight. It wasn't to bad. I was only disappointed in what they didn't put in. But they can't have it all.

We spent Thanksgiving with Josh's family and had a great time. Terrilynn and I went shopping Friday morning and hit all the shopping maddness. I did get the kids presents done. So I'm getting there.

Since we've been back I have been cleaning house and trying to teach Abbie how to spell her name. As you can see in the picture she got the A down pretty good. The next day she said she wanted to practice her ABC's. That makes me happy that she wants to learn.

William's been doing pretty good in the talking department. He says "thanks" when you give him something and he also says "drink". He is starting to make life a little easier now that he is communicating.

This weekend Josh came home and we all went to Eric and Terrilynn's house to ride the four wheelers. Abbie had a blast. She kept tell Eric to go faster. He said he had it up to 40 and she was still telling him faster. That little girl is just like her daddy. They love the speed. William thought that it was ok until I took him on it. Then anytime I got on he wanted to go. I think he likes to take it slow like me. The fastest I would go was 30.

We did have a fun weekend with daddy. We hope to see him again next weekend.

Back Home

Well as most of you know that I've been in Pocatello for two weeks and had a great time. The kids enjoyed spending time with gammy and gampy. And being able to be with daddy for more than just a couple of days.

After being there for a couple of days Josh's grandparents came and stayed for a while. So it's a good thing that they have a big house. We also got to find out how much trouble William can be in a house that's not his. Lets just say we won't be making anymore kids for a very long time.

The second week we were there we went to Idaho Falls to spend a day with Grandma and Auntie Sarah. We went to the falls and had lunch then we chased the ducks. I think that that was William's favorite part. Abbie wasn't to sure about them especially when they got closer.

Now were are home for least one week then we go back for Thanksgiving. It should be more fun then because Josh's brother Eric and his wife are bring there two new additions. They went to Alaska to get the two kids they adopted. So we will see how it will go this time.

Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween. Josh surprised us with his presence a day early so friday we got to play in the leaves before he cleaned them up. Then Josh's brother Eric and his wife came over and we carved pumpkins. The kids got there own which they got to color.

Then it was time to get ready to go trick or treating. Abbie knew what to do but William wouldn't hold his bucket and he kept running off. So I was the lucky one to carry around the 30 lb little boy.

As you can see in the picture Josh went as Abbie's prince. It was so cute. Abbie has so many people comment her on her costume and a lot of little girls saying "THERE'S BELLE". We had a long night of walking Abbie told me later that her legs hurt and she had Josh carry her around for a while.

When we were in Rexburg, Josh's sister has this big teddy bear that Abbie always played with. Well now William got his chance to really get to know Frances. And I think that they will be great friends.

Abbie got a Belle puzzle for her birthday from her friend Gunner. And today she sat down and put it together. I only had to help her only a few times. I can't believe how big she is getting.

Abbie's been caring her dolls in one of the plastic purses that one of her dolls came in and the handle ripped. She told her gammy that it would be ok and mommy would fix it with some sticky tape. Well as some of you know sticky tape doesn't fix everything. So I decided to make her a new purse that won't rip and that all of her dolls will fit in.

So we went to Joann's and picked out the fabric, went home and started to design a bag for all her stuff. Well it turned out pretty good. So good that I am a little jealous. I want a cool bag like that. I just don't know if I have the energy to make one for myself. I also have the tendency to not finish stuff when it's for me. I guess I'm not a big priority. Oh well. My kids do come first.

Sorry that it's been so long since the last blog. I've been kinda busy. I made another Belle dress for my niece Tess. And then we had a birthday party for Abbie with all of our family. The weather was horrible all morning. It rained so much it flooded part of the yard. Luckily at 4:00 when that party was going to start the sun came out and we were able to have it outside.

And then that Monday on her birthday we had her first party with her friends from nursery. She had a great time. We had pizza, cake, and ice cream. All the kids even went outside and played for a while.

The next day we all got in the car with grandma and Aunt Sarah and drove to Idaho Falls. There Abbie got to spend the week with gammy and William and I went on to Rexburg to spend with Josh, Auntie Autumn, Uncle Jason, and Auntie Noelle. William had sooo much fun with his Uncle. He even started calling him Jason. They even went to the store together just the two of them. I think they enjoyed each other a lot.

Hey everyone. Not much happenin here. Weather has been nice. We haven't had to use the air condioning for a little over two weeks now. I just turn our house fan on at night for a while.

Well as most of you know Josh left back to Rexburg yesterday, so I am all along again for another week. But I will keep busy making a 'Belle' dress for my niece Tess. Abbie and her will be matching this year since there fav. princess is Belle.

So far my week as been very interesting. Abbie woke me up at 6:30 to tell me that her blanket was broken ( with means it is no longer on the bed or covering her ) so I had to go and fix it. I then tried to go back to sleep when at 7:30 she decided she had to go potty. By then William wanted up and the day began.

When I went to get him out of his room I could only open the door a few inches. He had jumped in his bed so much that it moved and blocked his door. All I could see was his smiling face between his door and wall.

A little later William and I cuddled on the couch to watch 'Super Why' ( a show on pbs ) when Abbie decided to have water arobics in the kitchen. There was water half way up my floor, and she was wet from head to toe. And it had happened before 10:00. WHAT A DAY!!!

Well, I should go. It's nap time and my only time alone until 8:00 tonight. Does anyone know how to speed up time or even stop it? If so please let me know. Bye.

Learning new things

Well I know that it's been a while since the last update. My sister Sarah went to visit our other sister in Washington and took my camera with her.

This month has been a long one. Josh went to Alaska to help his brother move back to Idaho. When he got back he was able to be home for a week then went back to Pocatello to work. The kids and I got to go see him for the Labor Day weekend. We had fun seeing Gammy and Gampy. We went to the petting zoo and the park.

Abbie and William have been learning some new things. As some of you know Abbie watches Dora all the time. So she learned to count to 5 in spanish. She is getting to smart for words.

William has learned a new word. Tickle. He is also doing great in his motor skills. But we are not sure if he is left handed or right. He seems to like to use both equally.

Life for me has been the same. Just taking care of the homestead. I guess soon I'll be using some of my time helping mom pack up and getting her ready to move. Well, I hope you all have a wonderful week. Bye.

Hey everybody. Sorry I haven't updated lately. I could lie and say that I've been busy, but it's just been to hot in the computer room to want to be up there for to long.

I figured instead of a long blog that I would just post some pictures of what we have done since the last post.

Abbie love the firework we did at mom and dads house. She said that the worms were her favorite.

Abbie's been doing so well in the swimming department I went out and got her some Dora Goggles. She calls them her oggles.

Sarah and I finally got mom to play guitar hero with us. I think she had a blast. She would hit the right buttons but she would forget to strum.

This week my mom and I took the kids to the fair. They got their face painted and balloons. Abbie's favorite part was running throw the water. (sorry if I spelled that wrong).

Hey Everyone. Long time no write huh. Sorry I haven't updated lately. I could say that I've been super busy....but I haven't. Just lacking in the photo department.

Everyone here is doing fine. Josh is finally back home for now. The kids and I love having him home. We also have been getting a lot of swimming in since he's been home.

Abbie is doing great in the potty training. We started a chart so she can see how well she does. We still have some accidents but that is to be expected. Every morning I have been finding her in William's room playing when he wakes up. She does my morning routine for me. And when I come down to get them up I sometimes find her in William's crib with him.

William is starting to chunk up a little. It looks like another growing spur about to happen. I measured him today and it looks like he grew another half and inch since the last time. I can't seam to keep up with him in the clothes department. I'm just glad it's summer so we just wear shorts and not worry if they are too short.

Well, my talents are starting to ketch up with me. There is rummer around church that I am a good seamstress. I'm not great but I'm not horrible. I was asked to make a dress for a lady in my ward. It is for her daughter for her birthday. It is the wedding dress from the movie Enchanted. I have to say that I am way excited to have the opportunity to do it, and it will give my lots of practice. We went and got the material for it today, and when I put the kids to bed I wanted to start cutting it out than realized that I forgot to wash it. So sad to say I have to wait for it to dry.

Rock and Roll

Hey everyone. Things here in our neck of the woods are good. Abbie and William got to go to their first rock and roll party. Auntie Sarah had her graduation party tonight and got a band from her school to play. They were really good. Abbie got the play the drums and she even got her very own drum solo. I think she had the time of her life.

Not much else happened. I guess my life officially hit boring.......I wonder when that happened......oh well.

Josh is still in Rexburg. He's working hard at work and at Autumn's. Yesterday he helped her map out her garden.

I'm still doing my thing, being mommy. I've been sewing here and there. But mainly trying to get my house more organized and less messy. Well, I'll write again soon. Bye.

WE DID IT!!!!

Well this week was a fun one. I started potty training Abbie, and it went surprisingly well. We would only get about 4 accidents a day. Josh and I told her if she did really well that daddy would take her out for ice cream and just her. Well as you can see in the picture, she got it. Josh also took her to the park and played. She came back one happy little girl.

William is doing the same, always causing trouble. He as gotten interested in the whole potty thing. He likes to watch Abbie flush the toilet and see what happens to the water. Even to day he sat on the potty chair then got up and tried to dump it. I think that I will be in potty training mode again before to long.

Josh came home early this weekend so instead of a 3 day weekend, he gave us a 4 day weekend. We all have been enjoying all the time we get with him. Sometimes I think that it might be a little over whelming for him. But he loves us anyway. Well I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Love you all lots. Bye.

Hey everyone. Things here are good. Sorry it's been a while, it just gets to darn hot now in the computer room I just don't spend a lot of time up here anymore.

Well, as you can see Abbie and William are having so much fun playing together. They get along pretty well for the most part. Abbie has started her potty training lessons today. So far she is doing really well. Josh and I promised that he will take just her out for icecream when he gets home if she keeps up the good work. I have never seen a little girl so excited to get icecream before.

William is doing great. He has cut another moler. That makes 3 now, so he has a total of 5 more to go. He has just been the funniest little boy that I have ever seen. For the past 2 weeks he has been falling asleep in his high chair either while he is eating or right after he ate. It is so funny to watch.

Josh is still in Rexburg. Still don't know when he will be back but we all hope soon. But I have been keeping myself busy though. For my birthday almost everyone got me something that had to do with sewing. So I've been working on some new projects. Well, I need to go to bed. Write to you all later. Bye.

Splish Splash

I everyone. As you can see today was a nice day. It was 77 degrees and the new pool came out to play. Abbie and William had a blast. It was the best 35.00 I have ever spent (with josh's permission of course).

Things here are good. Josh is still out of town. Don't know how much longer. But we miss him lots. William said his first phrase last week. He said " I got it". He also follows me around the house saying "MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM" you all know how much fun that stage is.

Now I have 2 of them doing it. I think I should change my name. Any suggestions (lol).

I got my mother's day - birthday present today. I got to pick it out myself. It is a babylock serger. It is so cool. It threads itself. Pretty cool huh. Now all I have to do is to start selling the clothes that I am making.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Things here have been crazy. Josh has been out of town now for a month and Abbie has been sick one a week. I think that we finally got the flu out of the house and out of Abbie.

Other then Abbie being sick, we've been great. We have been able to play outside this weekend. Josh was able to come home this weekend and I think he got to see how much he was missed. The first morning home Abbie decided to crawl into bed with us and would not leave her daddy alone. Even when I tried to tell Josh something Abbie would look at me and say " No mommy, I talk daddy." I really made his day.

Today has been fun so far. The kids and I went outside so I could clean up a few things to put on craigslist. The weather was amazing. I put them in their swimsuits and they played in the sprinklers. William wasn't so sure about it at first but then started to get a little braver. Then we put the slide in the pool and William thought it was the meanest thing that his mommy had ever done to him. But as you all know Abbie had a blast. And now they are both sleeping like angels.

Hey everyone. Sorry it took so long to update. My sister Caci and her girls came down to see us on their spring break. We had a full first week. Sarah took everyone horseback riding, we went to the YMCA and went swimming, and then we all went to the zoo. Abbie and William had so much fun with there cousins. It was nice to get somewhat of a break.

The week after that the kids and I went to Pocatello. There we got to spend time with their aunts and uncles and grandparents. Which they all spoiled Abbie and William lots.

Abbie is becoming a smart little thing and also hard headed. She can now count to 10. And she talks way better, I don't always have to repeat what she is saying so people know what she is saying.

William is doing lots better. He learned how to crawl down the stairs when we were at gammy's house. And he can use the slide all by himself. He also got his first molar this week. Unfortunately he only got one, so that means we have 3 more to go.

This here for Josh and I are doing good. The inside of the house projects are at a stop for now. The weather has gotten so nice here we have been outside more often. Well, I hope that I will write again sooner. Bye.

Hey everyone. As you can see, Josh put up the swing set. We are still not done with it but it's done enough for Abbie and William.

Thing here are great. We are getting some things done around the house. Josh made me a counter top this week and put it in. It is made out of concrete. It looks cooler then it sounds. I can't wait until the whole kitchen is done, but that will be sometime not in the near future. But hopefully soon.

The kids are doing well. William is doing so well at walking he now walks in circles. He does it for so long when he's done he walks into the wall. Abbie and I this month are trying to figure out that potty thing. We've had lots of accidents but we will get the hang of it.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been writing much but the kids and I were sick the other week and then it took me one more week to catch up with what I didn't do. But now everyone is doing great.

Abbie is talking so much better now. All she wants to do it to talk to everyone on the phone, the only problem with that is that she doesn't like to give it up. You ask her for it and she says "Abbie Talk" and she does.

William is getting two more teeth. So as some of you know, that mean crankiness. But he is doing a lot better now. He is also walking all over the place. It surprises me how fast they figure out stuff. He is starting to form words. He says Hi and I swear he said thanks to me the other day. He is also testing his limits with mommy, he puts his hands on the t.v. and looks back at me to see if I tell him no or not. Smart little boy he it.

Josh and I are doing good. I got one side of the banister stained. I will get the other one done when Josh put it together then I will show it to you all on the blog then. One step at a time. Then the house will be done.

Well as you can see I got some pretty cool lights for my dinning room and kitchen. They look so good with the colors in the dinning room I couldn't have asked for a better match.

Everyone here is doing good. William is teething again. He is the most crankiest little man I have ever meet. But I still love him.

Abbie is doing ok. She's a little sick. I took her temp tonight and it was 100.3, so she crashed on the couch. Other then that she has been my little model. Those of you that know Josh got me a really cool sewing machine for christmas. Well the past few weeks I've been sewing up a storm. Last blog Abbie was wearing the easter dress I made her, and this week she is showing off her new blouse and shorts. And those of you who don't know, I made them all without a pattern. I created them all myself. Josh is pretty proud of me. He thinks that now I can make my own clothing line. If I ever did, right now it would be in the toddler stage. I'm still working out the kinks thought. So far the shirt and shorts fit her but not for long :( but I will get there some day.

A lot of fun things happened since the last blog. William started walking, Abbie went poop in the potty, and we had a birthday party.

Abbie has gotten to be such a big girl this week. The other day she told Josh that she had to go, so he took her in there. I later took over so Josh could go take his shower, a few minutes later she had gone. She was so excited she went to the bottom of the stairs and said " DADDY, DADDY I POOP IN POTTY, I PUSHED HARD." I never laugh so hard in my life when she said that. But I think that that was a one time thing because since then she hasn't gone.

William on the other hand is walking like crazy. I can't believe how big he is getting. He also had a wonderful birthday party. Made out like a bandit. Got tons of cool toys and some new clothes.
And he did better at eating the cake then what Abbie did on her first birthday.

Well, Josh and I are doing pretty great. The dinning room is pretty much done. Just needs a few touch ups here and there. I've been making Abbie a dress for Easter. All I need to do is a few touch ups on it to. Well, I'll write again soon. Bye.

ROCK ON!!!!! As you can see that is what Abbie is doing. She likes to play with her guitar when we watch a certain episode of 'Word World' (on pbs). All the animal build musical instruments, and the sheep builds a guitar and starts to rock out on it. You would have to see it to see what I'm talking about.

William got his other tooth a couple of weeks ago. Now his smile is getting cuter and cuter. He's still not walking yet, I'm not sure when it will happen but I hope soon.

Josh has been working hard on my dinning room. the pantry in done and he got me a new back door that matches the pantry doors. Yesterday he tore out the wall between the dinning room and kitchen. It looks so much bigger now. We should have the dinning room finished by William's birthday.

Time for a change

Hey everyone. I decided since it's a new year. I needed a change. So I changed the back round of my blog. Hope you all like it. Everything here is just hunky dory. As you can see a couple of week ago we had a big snow storm. So Abbie and I went outside and made us a frosty the snow man. And then I decided to make a snow bob and larry. When Abbie saw bob she just stood in front of it and stared, then she looked at me and said 'bob tomato'. When I told her that she was correct she decided to ask me where Larry was. I let her know very quickly that I was building him too.

William is having so much more fun with Abbie. They chase each other and they both love to get into my stuff. William crawls so fast now it sounds like he is running all over the place. He also cut another tooth this week. It is one of the two front ones. The other one is on it's way, just a little slower.

Josh and I are doing great. I painted by dinning room last week and I also ripped out my pantry. It's going to be the same size but with bigger doors (and will look ten times better). Well, I hope all is well with all of you and I will try to post more often. Bye.

Hey everyone. Things here in Houdekville are great. As you can see, I made William and Josh matching ties. Josh told me that if I made him one he would wear it. I think they look so cute.

Abbie has been keeping my hands full. She wakes up like she just had 10 bowls of candy and doesn't stop. I really wish that I could have some of her energy at times. As you can see, Abbie got roller skates for christmas. She is doing quite well with them. She went from the far end of the couch all the way to her bedroom without falling and holding on to anything.

William is doing great. He has mastered pulling himself up and is now walking along the couch. I think he will be walking before his birthday. He also has discovered a new sound. He is know saying gaw gaw. I hope he will say dada soon. I guess well see.

Merry Christmas

Hey everyone. We had a great Christmas, went to Poccatello and spent it with Josh's family. Abbie and William had a wonderful time. They had so much fun playing with their Aunt's and Uncle's ( and of course they're gammy and gampy). They also got all sorts of toys and some new jackets.

On Christmas day William pulled himself up for the first time. And now that is all he ever does. I think he fells more like a big kid like Abbie. He also got his first fat lip the other day. We have no idea how it happened but we do know that Abbie wasn't involved. She was with mommy and daddy when it happened. But now his smile is a little droopy on one side. On a funnier note, yesterday I was feeding William in the dinning room and Abbie was telling us all about Bob and Larry (veggie tales) when out of the blue William said BOB. Josh's jaw dropped and said " BOB comes before Daddy. That's not right!" All I could do was laugh.

Let it SNOW

Hey everyone. As you can see we got snow on Saturday. And as soon as Abbie got up from her nap, we ran out side to play and made our first snowman of the year.

Things here are great. Josh has been getting some more projects done around the house. And I have been trying to get us ready for christmas.

The kids are doing great. Abbie is so excited about christmas. All she wants to do is watch her new favorite christmas movie 'Frosty the Snowman'. So thank you Uncle Eric and Anutie Terrilynn for the movie.

William is now moving in full speed. He is getting so fast at his crawling, its become hard to keep up with him. As you can see in the picture he has four teeth and my kids seem to get them all in the wrong order. But he's still the cutiest little boy ever.

Crawling

Hey Everyone. Sorry I'm a little late getting to the blog. Been a little busy on the weekend.

Well not much has happened with us. Just been trying to get things done around the house. Josh put in a outlet in the main bathroom and fixed the hole in William's room. Right now he is trying to put in another door in the back so we are better insulated.

Abbie is doing great. I think Christmas is going to be her favorite holiday. She loves snowmen and she knows how Santa is. She doesn't know what he's all about but she will learn very soon. She is also doing great with her alphabet. She knows all the letters but 8 of them. We practice with our flash cards every chance we get. She definitely loves to learn new things.

William is doing the same. Grumpy as ever. His 4th tooth has cut through again. This time it will stay out for good. His crawling is getting way better. He moves pretty quick now on the hardwood floors. He does some what of a scoot with a crawl in it. It's really cute to watch.

Hey everyone. Sorry I didn't send out my blog on Sunday. We had a busy week. It started off with everyone got the flu but me. So all week I took care of my family. And now that everyone is better, I'm trying to get my house back in order.

The kids are doing good. William is more miserable then ever. Now that he's not sick he decides to cut some more teeth. I can't wait till there all there. Then I can finally catch a break. The good news about his is that he started crawling on Saturday. It's only a inch at a time but it is so cute to watch. Hopefully next week I will get in on video so I can show you all.

Abbie is doing a lot better know. She was the sickest one in the group. It took her a few days just to be able to keep anything down. But she sure was a trooper. She started a new thing this week. It's call annoying mommy. She follows me around the house and says mom repeatedly. It was cute at first but now I just want it to stop. I guess that is part of the joy being a mom. Yea me. :)

Game time

Hey everyone. This week here in houdekland have been great. Josh finally got the fireplace finished. It looks awesome. He's been working on some inside projects lately because of the weather and the fact that the sun is gone when he gets home from work now. He also put in some steps to the computer room. Now it is a lot easier to get into it especially with a 20 pound kid in your arms.

Abbie is doing great. I took her to the bank on Friday and opened her up a savings account. I am proud to say that she is a Pee Wee Penguin at Idadiv. She's become a big girl so fast I don't know how the time blew by so fast. As you can see in the picture Abbie found our Spongebob game. She loves playing it.

William has had better days. He's been sick most of the week. But I did get to find out that he is a bigger hand full when he's sick. He is all over me just to get comfortable and is very cranky in the process. I just hope that he gets better soon.

Look how's talking now

Hey everyone. This week has been a very crazy one. Abbie is acting like she been wired on sugar even though she only gets maybe one piece of her halloween candy a day. And William started to get back in his funk after giving mom a couple of days off. So if anyone wants him just let me know and he's all yours (just until he's better of course). Other then that they are the greatest thing to have around. Abbie makes us laugh every time she does something crazy. And William can still melt our hearts with one of his big smiles.

William did the best thing about 3 in the morning on Monday. I went down stairs to take care of him when all of a sudden he looked at me and said Mama. Of course I was the only one who heard him so no one believed me. So I got him to say it at the dinner table for all to hear.

Josh couldn't believe that his little man would say such a bad word. After all they are supposed to be allies. But he still does love him even thought mommy seems to come first.

Trick or Treat

Well everyone. This week was a great week. Abbie and William got to dress up and get candy. Abbie thought it was so much fun, when she got done trick or treating she acted like she just ate all the candy in her bucket. I've never seen her so hipper active without a bit of sugar in her system.

William had fun just having everyone admiring his awesome costume ( thanks to Auntie Autumn). He was the cutest lion I've ever seen. He still hasn't crawled yet. Trying to but still no luck. This week I've been at the ends of my rope with him, I thought about shipping him of to someone. We are not sure what his problem was. But last night was the first night that I got to sleep in my own room.

Josh almost has his bench done. It looks really nice. Luckly the weather has been nice for some days while he's outside working on it. For me, I haven't done much other then taking care of the family and the house. I did however get my dinning room cleaned. Now if only it can stay that way. Well, I will write again next week. Hey everyone. Still not much happened this week. Josh started to work on the bench for the patio this weekend. It's looking pretty sharp. It will be nice to have it all done one of these days.

Abbie and William are doing great. Abbie is learning lots of her letters and saying new sentences. She knows around 10 letters of the alphabet just by looking at them. She amazes Josh and I everyday with what she is learning just by watching us. And she has also started to say 'I love you', but is sounds like I knub you.

William is still trying to crawl but still no luck. I keep thinking that it will happen any day know. He got another hair cut this week. I think I cut his hair more often then I cut Josh's.

Hey Everyone. Things here are great. We had a normal week but fun. Friday I took the kids to the Linder Corn Maze where they got to pick out a pumpkin, run through a maze and go on a hay ride. They had a pretty good time even though it rained off and on. They are both getting so big.

Abbie's attitude has changed since her birthday last week. She seems to be a little more headstrong. She doesn't wine as much but she definitely has to do things her own way. If she doesn't want to do something she's not afraid to tell you.

William is still attached to mommy. I just don't know how much more love I can handle from him. If I sit on the couch he has to wrap his arms around my legs and give me the wettest kisses ever. He has also started to bite me on the shoulder. I'm just glad that he doesn't have any top teeth to go with the bottom ones yet. He also has been getting around the house pretty good without crawling. He scoots very good on his rear.

Happy Birthday Abbie!!

Hey everyone. As you can see Abbie had a great birthday. She got lots and lots of cool gifts and she had lots and lots of sugar. We made her the coolest cake ever! It was a Bob the Tomato cake. When she looked at it she knew right away who he was. She just keeped saying bob. She was also excited to be able to eat Bob too.

Our week started out like all the other weeks. And then on Friday we decided to all get sealed together. It was nice to have some of the family there with us. We are so glad that we are now eternally stuck together. Abbie was so cute when she came into the sealing room, she let everyone know that "Abbie Cute." William on the other hand just did what he does best, he slept. They both were very good and I am glad that we were able to have it done.

Hey everyone. I didn't forget to do my blog this week, I was just really busy with other stuff that I just didn't have the time. This week has been a busy and fun week. First off Josh finally started to work on the patio. He wants the side that you see in the picture finished in time for Abbie's birthday. So far we got half of it done on Saturday. Know if the weather holds up we might be able to work on it this week to.

Abbie and William are doing great. They both went with grandma and aunt Sarah to the museum Saturday. Mom says that they were both very good and not a problem. I was so glad to hear that because I am always worried how William will act when I'm not around. He is so much a mama's boy.

Sunday we had a small family reunion at the Nampa park. There I got to see my Uncle Ed and my cousin Crystal. I haven't seen her in I don't know how many years. It was really nice to be able to talk to her and catch up.

This week I also finished Abbie's halloween costume. I hate to toot my own horn, but I do nice work. She is going to be the cuties fairy ever.

Hello everybody. First I would like to apologize to everyone for not updating my blog last week. Apparently some people look froward to see pictures of the kids and see what we are up to. You know how you are.

Things here have been going slow. Last week we really didn't do anything to write about. So this week I made sure that we did something fun. Wednesday Josh played baseball at the church. They had the Elders Quorum play against the young men. It was a pretty close game, the young men won but only by one point. It was a lot of fun to watch. Then on Thursday we all went to the church orchard and picked apples. We didn't get much done with two kids but we had fun doing it. Today in relief society we found out that the apples that we picked goes to President Hinkley and he puts one on all of the general authorities chairs. I thought that was pretty cool to find out that the one's that we picked went there.

Well Abbie had definitely hit her terrible two's. I don't know how I am going to survive her and William's teething all at the same time. But I will try and do my best. I hope that all of you are happy to hear from us and I hope that I have more eventful days up ahead. Write to you all soon. Bye.

Hello Everyone. Things here are great. Haven't been doing to much this week. I've been trying to finish some of the small projects around the house that need to be done. This week I've been working on Abbie's room. I'm almost done.

On Monday Abbie went with Grandma and Grandpa Lane and Sarah to Idaho City. From what I heard, she had a blast. She got to play in the water and then get dirty. She came home happy as can be. I was glad to she her go have fun with family. It was also nice to have just one kid again to take care of. I almost forgot how easy it was.

William is doing great to. All he does is grow. He loves to play with Abbie when ever she decides to let him. He also loves to play on the piano. I think that he is done being a baby and whats to be a big boy so bad. I think that it wont be to much longer and he will be my big boy.

Well, I should go and I will write again next week.

Hey everyone. Not much happened here the week. I took Abbie to the library and we got some books that they had on hold for us. Then we all went to Pocatello for the weekend. Had some fun with family down there.

Abbie's been doing great. She's been getting clumsy lately, so we know that she's having a growing spar. She did the cutest thing the other day. I took her outside to have her tell daddy goodnight, and when we were walking away she turned and said, " DADDY SAVE ME". Josh didn't know what to do. He wanted to save her but he also new better. I think that it made his day though.

William is getting bigger too. He's been sitting up all by himself this week. I think that he's going to crawl soon. He just watches Abbie all the time and you can tell in his eyes that he wants to play with her so bad. He also got his second tooth this week. Now I'm just looking forward for the day he bites me (yea). He also got his second hair cut to. I cut off almost half and inch. That's a lot of hair for such a little guy.

Hello everybody. Things here at the Houdek house were slow. Just sort of hung around.

William got a new set of wheels the other day. He's got reverse down really good, but we are practicing on going forewards. William cut his first tooth today it was the bottom left one. He's been complaining about it all week. Maybe know well get a good nights rest.

Abbie's been the same, cute as can be. She is saying new words all the time. Josh calls her our little parrot, because she repeats what we tell her to say. I took her to the libary for the first time this week. I think that she had fun.

Pajama Time

Hey Everyone. Things here are great. I have been trying to get my house a little more organized. It's coming along quite nicely. Just working on one room at a time. Josh is doing well also. He got sand this week for the patio. All we need is some motivation and we might get it done sometime this year. Of course me telling him to sit and relax all the time probably doesn't help.

Abbie has been doing great this week. I noticed this that she got 3 new teeth, her 2 year molars. I guess that means that she's just getting bigger. I'm not to sure if I am ready for that yet. But I welcome it with open arms.

William on the other hand has been a pain in my side. Josh figured out why he hasn't been sleeping well for me. He decided that the energy drink that I have been drinking gives William energy to. I figured that Josh could be right just this once. So no more energy for me. William also got some really spiffy PJ's from his Auntie Autumn, that she made. He's wearing them in the pic above. The are a little big but he will grow into them.

Ride'em cowgirls

Howdy Cow Pokes. How ya'll doin? We're all doing great here. We had a lot of fun this week. First Gammy and Gampy Houdek (mike and lila) surprised us with a visit. Abbie was soo happy to see her gammy she couldn't get off the couch fast enough. Even though they were only here for a day, it sure made ours.

After all that excitement we went to the park in meridian for our future Aunty Pam's birthday and got to see and play with Aunt Ashley and Britten. It was so nice to be able to see and visit with them both. I couldn't believe how big that girl has gotten. Then on Sunday Abbie and Britten got to go horse back riding. They both had a blast and Abbie didn't want to get off. I think she's going to be my little cowgirl.

Well, William is doing about the same. Still growing like a weed. Josh and I mesured him last week and he was 29 inches tall. He is already one noch higher in his suacer. I can't believe that he's going to be 6 months on the 24th. It just doesn't seem like its been that long.

Greetings from planet earth.... Things down here are fine and dandy. As you can see we are closer to getting the patio done. It turned out really nice.

Abbie and William have been keeping us busy. Abbie has learned about a million new words. She's become a regular Noelle (jabber-box). She's adapted to her big girl bed, and now she enters and exits it on command, most of the time anyway. we are hoping that she will complete obedience school in the near future so mommy doesn't have to beat her on a regular basis. lol... We all went to the Caldwell Park today. Abbie had a lot of fun going down the slides and swinging.

William has been getting bigger and bigger by the day. He found his feet the other day and decided to play with them. Josh and I were worried that he couldn't reach them because of his manly stature. He does take after his dad you know. lol...

Look at those Zucchini

Hello everyone. This week was really run. As you can see we picked some of the zucchini from our garden. For some reason they get really big. All we give them is water and lots of sun.

Abbie got her stitches out on Monday. She did a really good job letting the nurse pull them out. I may of bribed her with smarties, I don't remember :). She's been doing great in her bed, I don't have to get up as much anymore. Wednesday we went to a park in Meridian, and Abbie had a blast. She played in the water and went down the slides a million times. That is definitely the new park for family get together.

William has been growing like a weed. He talks non-stop. He is now in the saucer. All he whats to do is sit and stand like a big boy. In fact he's been trying to crawl a little bit.

Josh pored the concrete for the patio Friday. It's going to look really cool. I can't wait until it's done. Well until next time. Bye.

Hello everyone. Things here in Houdekland are doing great. We had a big milestone happen this week. Since Abbie got hurt, she's been climbing out of her crib. So instead of taking the chance of her hurting herself or ripping any stitches, she graduated to a big girl bed. So since Tuesday she's been sleeping in her new room in her new bed. She does really well for being almost two, but mommy or daddy still has to tell her to go back to bed around 3:30 in the morning. Thankfully she goes back to bed without complaining. Tomorrow Abbie and I get to go to the hospital at 7:00 in the morning and get her stitches out. I am way excited.

William is doing great. He got his 4 month shots on Tuesday. I think that he did pretty good. He's also growing like a weed and wanting to sit up a lot. He wants so much to be able to play with his big sister. He watches her all the time. He's also been trying really hard to cut some teeth. He's been at it for a while now. I was hoping that they would come this week because he's been whining a lot. And to top it off we all got a cold. So this week was a very hard week to handle, but we managed to all survive.

Well Josh and I have been working on our individual projects. Josh got the cover to the swimming pool on and started to work on the patio part. I almost got Abbie's room completely done. I just have a few more things to move out and her dresser to move in. Then I can move William downstairs. Well, I will tell you more of our progress with the projects and how Abbie does at the hospital next week. Bye.

Hey everyone. This week has been very eventful. We still had some family here from the wedding and as you can see in the picture, we also got to find out how slow the ER in Caldwell is. Our week started out really fun. Autumn and I started to paint Abbie's new room. The wall turned out really good. Well, Today (which is Saturday) I decided to start moving bedroom funiture around. That's when Abbie fell and slit her hand open. She got 7 stitches. She sure is a trooper thought. She only cried for a little bit when it happened and when the doctor was numbing it. They said that she was the best 2 year old they have ever had.

William is doing great. He's been eating lots and lots of baby food. His favorite treat is frozen ice. He could suck on it all day if we let him. He also is getting so strong. He is starting to pull himself up and trying to sit. Well, I'm going to go. For those of you that been in my new computer room, it is very hot. So I will write again later. Bye.

All Dressed Up

Hey Everyone! Things here are great. We got Josh's brother Scott married off Saturday. Abbie was the flower girl and William was the ring barer. They both did really good. Abbie walked down the ille, but she didn't throw her flowers. We all think that she did a great job thow. We also had Noelle give Abbie some candy to keep her from running around during the cerimony.

William was pretty fussy before the wedding started. S0 we weren't to sure how well he would do. But Josh told him when they were standing in line, that he didn't need to be awake for his job. So he fell asleep right when they started to walk. He was one tired little man.

Josh and I were pretty busy this week also. We've been working on the patio still. But will his family here, he's been getting a lot of help. Well I hope all is well with all of you, and hope you all tune in for next weeks blog. Goodbye.

Hello from the Houdek's

This week the kids and I were way busy. We did a lot of church activitys. I think Thursday was Abbie's favorite. The Releif Socitey had a 'Mommy and Me Day' where we played in the water. And as all of you know how much my kids love the water. Abbie been having more and more fun with William. She loves to play with him and read him her books.

William is just getting bigger and bigger. As you can see in the swing, there isn't much room left.He rolled over for the first time last Saturday. And if you know Abbie, William is the same way. Wants you do something new why keep on doing it.

Josh is getting more and more done with the patio. This weekend he should have the cover in and running. Which means that the pavers are next. We are so excited.

Hey everyone! Hope all is well. Things here in Houdekville are great. William went swimming for the first time this week and had a blast. To him is was just a great big bath tub, but just a tid bit colder. He's just been getting bigger and bigger by the minute.

Abbie's been doing good. We were playing beek-a-boo today and she said "I see you". It was way cute. We also figured out what see see meant. She was singing a song off of one of her veggie tale movies. Now that we know what it is we sing it to her all the time.

Josh and I have been working on the patio this week. Josh took three days off of work to work on it. We got our pool cover in on Friday so Josh is trying to get that done so the pavers can go in.

I started my new calling last week. I am the assistant activity days person. I think that I am really going to love hanging out with the girls in our ward and getting to know them each. Well I will write again next week. Bye.

Not much has happened this week. Abbie got a new watering can and helped water all the flowers around the house. She's been a very big help for mommy and daddy. She's been drinking out of a big girl cup at dinner time and has been practicing eating with a spoon and fork.

William started eating rice cereal today. And boy does he love it. I think that boy was meant to be a houdek. He been sleeping all thought the night know for a while. And mommy really likes that. We all get up about 7:30 every morning.

Things here have been great. And I will talk to you all again later.

Meet The Houdek's

Hi everyone. I thought that this might be an easier way of keeping everyone posted one whats been going on with the Houdek's.

Abbie's hit her terrible two's. She has her bad days and her good. As you can see in the picture that was part of her good day. She loves to play in the dirt. Abbie's been saying full sentences and picking up on new words. She says CAR SEAT just like granny Thia (with a boston accent).

William has been growing so fast I don't know
how to keep up. Some of the clothes that he's
in are 6 to 9 months. He weights in at 17 lbs and is 27 inches long. He talks all the time and is extreamly ticklish. This weekend he decided to start cutting his teeth and he doesn't like it at all.

As for Josh and I. We've been hard at work trying to get things done around the house. This weekend Josh put up trim to the upstairs hallway (looks real snappy). I've been working slowly on my pond. I have 6 fish (thanks to mommy houdek) and lots of plants. We also have a good size garden this year (thanks to granny Thia). More will be posted next weekend. Bye.
