Halloween 2009

Well Halloween went great this year. Both kids had a blast. We went to Josh's brothers ward for their trunk or treating. Both of them seamed to be in hyper mode even before we started.

Abbie knew exactly what to do. She was a hard one to keep up with. And she also had to show me every piece of candy that she got.

William on the other hand, kinda knew what to do. He would get a piece of candy then just stand there and wait for more. Then he would run past the next car.

Here's a few pics of our fun night.

Abbie's 4th Birthday

Well, we had a wonderful birthday party. Abbie was a cloud 9. So many presents and just non-stop excitement. Here's a few pics of the fun. Tinkerbell Shoes

Update on Garage

So as most of you know, Josh was building us a new garage. It is the biggest thing that is on our property. He has gotten so much done. He thinks that he should be able to have the final inspection done in a couple of weeks.

So here's some of the latest pictures to see.

Starting to put up the roof

Roofing it.
When Josh was getting ready to put up the sheet rock, he cut away some of the tar paper and found a bat hanging there. He caught it and we put it in the garden so it could fly away when it could.

Update on the Houdek's

Well, a lot has been going on since my last post. I have been busy making halloween costumes and a blanket for William. And Josh has been busy tearing down the garage and building a new one. So here are some pics. Sorry if they are not that good. When we went camping my camera fell into the lake and it doesn't work anymore. These pictures were taken with my phone.

Camping

Well, this week we went camping for the first time with kids. It was fun and a whole lot of work. First it was from my understanding a two mile hike. My father-in-law forgot to tell me that it was up hill about 90% of the time.

We did make it to the top and back down again. Here's some pictures of our adventure.

Abbie and William at the beginning to the trail

This was the steepest part. And it was sure hard coming down it.

Here's the lake that we camped at. I think its called Island Lake.

Josh and I at the top of the mountain on the next day hike. The bottom is where we camped at.The lake that we hiked to.

One of the deers that come to our camp. We had so many. One even liked to watch William play around the camp site.

Water Time!!!

Well, this week we were lucky to have my nieces over from Washington. Since they've been here the pool has been busy.

Today William and I decided to join them in all their fun. William has just started to swim with his arm floaties this past week. He's a little scared but getting braver. Well today he decided to get really brave. He started to jump off the patio and into the pool. To my amazement he enjoyed it. Then he got really brave and slid down the slide into the pool.

Abbie and William wore me out just taking them out of the pool over and over again. So here's a short video of our fun.

Trip to Washington

I know its been a while but what can I say. I've been busy and it's gotten way to hot in the computer room to stay in there for to long.

Well a couple of week ago, the kids and I went to visit my sister Caci in Washington. And as you can see from the first picture we did indeed go to Forks. But my favorite part was La Push. I had forgotten how much I missed the trees and all that green.

The next day we went to the zoo. Where the kids got to see all the cool underwater creatures. So here are some pictures of our trip.

On the way to Forks
First Beach in La Push
On our way to Third Beach
Abbie and William's first time at the ocean. They had so much fun in the water.
Caring William back to the car. It was 1 1/2 mile walk and I carried him the whole way.
